It’s a project that friend of the BP_TOW team KIM TATE worked on with her team and we wanted to share it with the OG Wingers out there. Obviously, we’re big fans of the game everywhere, but maybe not so obvious, is that we are big fans of what they are doing in Mexico. Personally, I feel that there isn’t enough United States media, paying attention to what is going with our neighbors to the South.
There is some really great ball being played, a ton of clubs with a great story to tell, beautiful stadiums and they have some of the richest culture and some of the best supporters following clubs in all of soccer. This shows that.
The video below is a piece on Santos v. Monterrey that talks about how rich the rivalry is, and shows how it extends beyond just what is happening on the playing field. We reached out to Kim about the video and she was kind enough to write a few words about the project and you can see why she is so passionate about what she is doing with club.
